Ironic isn’t it when you have 2 very different cousins that when regarding this one thing they can be very same… well my kind of same isn’t really same… it is too very different but same subjects..

On the 21st May 2002, my first younger cousin then I am was born… he was named Nathanael Dominic which meant the gift of God since he was born only after tons of trail, failure, and disappointment therefore he was called what his parents named him… any way while he was growing, we constantly called his mum n dad, mummy and daddy as well, in order for him to get used to the idea that those awesome people are his proud parents. So when he was turning around 4 to 5 years old I began to call his parents by the name title I was taught to call them by. Which is, using the word mummy and daddy before their name, (exp: Mummy LILY). So like I say when my cousin was turning around 4-5 years old, I started to use that calling again towards his parents… anyhow, my awesome cousin Nater, kept correcting me… this is what he said to me 6-7 years ago…
Situation: I was talking to his mum ‘bout something in front of him calling his mum by mummy____ and a name. After I finished talking to his mum, here’s what he said to me…
Cousin Nater: Kak chi, do not call my mummy, mummy lily…
Me: So what should I address your mum?
Cousin Nater: well just call her Mummy then…
Ok now why is it ironic??? Well here’s why..

On the 16th November 2007 another cousin was born… her name is Emmanuelle Jewel Jeffrey. Emmanuelle meant God is with us while jewel is simply because she is the first jewel of her parents… actually her mum wanted to name her literally Princess Emmanuelle Jeffrey.. but when they think about it, they were concern that her future friends in class might just make fun of her… any how again we are not talking about what her name meant or meant to be… like my cousin Nater, she too we make sure that she know who are her parents by calling her mum and dad, mummy and daddy too and when she’s about to turn 4 years old by this November, recently she heard me calling her dad Uncle Jeff… so this is what happen…
Situation: Morning- after breakfast. I was talking to her dad bout something I couldn’t really recall… like my cousin Nater, I was addressing her dad Uncle Jeff in front of her…
Cousin Emma: Kak Chi, why you call Emma daddy Uncle Jeff?
Me: because Emma daddy is not Kak Chi’s daddy... it’s Kak Chi’s uncle…
Cousin Emma: oh ok…
I thought that conversation was over but it turns out she is still thinking about it all day… so when it was evening, and she didn’t sleep, I threatened her to tell her dad bout it…
Me: Emma, why didn’t you sleep just now?
Cousin Emma: (silent….)
Me: You want me to tell daddy bout you not sleeping just now?
Cousin Emma: Kak Chi, don’t call Emma daddy, Daddy…. Call Emma daddy Uncle jeff…
Me: (speechless then I snap out of it) Emma, what does it got to do with me telling your daddy bout your action just now and me addressing to him or of him?
Cousin: well everything… you told me that my dad is your uncle so stick with it…
Me: (speechless even longer) well fine whatever but I’m still telling your dad…
-and the argument continue-
So you see my ironic point here? Same subjects but different outcome… one cousin insisted me calling his parents the way he was taught to call them while the other cousin insisted me calling her parents the way I should be calling them… funny how the same education gives different outcome to different individuals… hahaha….
P/s: however annoying my cousinS are, they are still a jewel in my heart.. i love them all the same... oh ya i have another cousin his name is Nathan-Noel Dominic... we call him Noel... any how i cannot enclose his pictures cause his mother forbid me from doing so... due to a disclose reason n safety.. hehehe... well that's all...
